A well-planned sitemap is like a swiss army knife
for web projects – simple, but effective.
Be on the same page
With a visual, clearly structured sitemap, you’ll be able to get clients and team member on the same page faster.
Reduce unnecessary pages, identify duplicates and simplify the navigation when planning your site or app.
Simplify user flow
A visual sitemap helps identify opportunities to get users to the desired action on your app or site faster.
Use it to assign tasks
A visual sitemap makes it easier to assign wireframing, copy, design and other tasks in your project management tool.
How much is your time worth?
With Timblee, you spend less time doing and more time thinking, the way it should be. Drag and drop from 40+ page types to create beautiful sitemaps in minutes.
Rich conversations with clients & colleagues
Anyone you invite can easily add feedback – which is automatically structured by page. No login required so clients will love it even more.
Always know where things are at
Manage multiple projects? With the Kanban progress board, you’ll easily know whether you need to follow up with a client or move the sitemap to the next stage.
Visuals speak (10x) louder than words
Traditional ‘text only’ sitemaps are hard to read (and boring ). Get internal and external clients to take notice with easy to scan visual sitemaps. And avoid costly (and annoying) structural changes halfway through the build.
Timblee is the perfect starting point
for your next project. Here’s how we use it:
Planning & structure
When planning a new web project, Timblee is where we start and iterate till there are only essential pages and a clean, tight navigation left.
Based on the Timblee sitemap, we assign copy, wireframing and other tasks to the team using Metalab’s Flow
Wireframes, UX & design
We then build low-fidelity wireframes, conduct the first stage of UX testing and then hi-fidelity designs with Bohemian Coding’s beautifully simple Sketch
Detailed UX testing & feedback
We create an almost seamless interactive experience using the static concepts and get feedback from a broader group of stakeholders with InVision.
We then turn the the final designs for the project or that sprint into code using Sublime Text 2 and store our repositories on Github.
We typically conduct live real user testing internally, with small groups of user testers locally, or via usertesting.com.
After changes and improvements based on user testing are made, we deploy to AWS where our production environment is.
